e•piph•a•ny [i-pif-uh-nee]
–noun, plural
- a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the
reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by
some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience, or
lotza beer.
KJPS 87.9FM-Clamper Radio
is the
brain-child of Squibob DJ & Clamplifyer, "DJ" David Blaylock
and his pop/old man/dad, XNGH Gary Blaylock.
After a few beers one night (or
was it a few nights with a few beers...anyway), DJ David had an
epiphany.
"Hey pop! I think what our Squibob
chapter needs is our
own 'unlicensed/pirate/underground' FM radio station! We can
transmit great music, stupid jokes, freaking hilarious
commercials, and announcements at our doin's, and all the
brothers can tune their truck and RV radios to 87.9FM to
listen!", DJ David said to his dear ole' dad.
And XNGH Gary said, "That's sounds great, son!
I'll go find us an FM transmitter and we'll be in business!"
And that's how it all
started!
So, now you can listen to DJ David and his KJPS
Broadcast Studio's "Cast of Misfits" pretty much all day, and
late into the evenings at each Squibob Chapter doins!
Broadcasting live at a powerful 1.5 watts of screaming FM power!!
You can't miss us, just listen for
and walk towards that sweet rock-n-roll/country/oldies/bluegrass playing in the clampground.
Stop on by the broadcast studios and make a request, come in and
have a beer, mix yourself a drink at the Squibob Saloon, or just
stop by say "Hey DJ! Howzit?"
And don't
forget... Every Saturday night, after the hanging' ceremony, come
on by the "KJPS Radio Station XPBC Survivor's After Party!"
to welcome in
any surviving PBCs and show em' what its like to party Squibob
Style!
